Warranty & Coverage
Coverage is service-specific: one year for qualifying residential paver-sealing failure, an 80% stripping target outside the paver warranty, one year for qualifying natural-stone seal performance, and two years for qualifying roof-cleaning regrowth. The approved written estimate and controlling warranty version govern.
Effective 2026-07-28
1. Summary of service-specific coverage
Coverage is service-specific. The applicable written estimate or invoice and the approved Warranty & Coverage version for the project govern.
- Residential paver sealing: one-year coverage for qualifying premature, abnormal failure caused by workmanship or material/manufacturer-related failure within Clean Master’s control.
- Stripping or sealant removal: an 80% or greater removal target unless the written scope states otherwise; stripping is not covered by the paver-sealing warranty.
- Natural stone, including travertine: one-year coverage limited to seal-application performance within Clean Master’s control.
- Roof cleaning: two-year limited coverage for qualifying significant organic regrowth caused by a missed area, application error, or related service issue within Clean Master’s control.
These service-specific terms do not promise zero wear, zero regrowth, complete stain removal, a particular cosmetic finish, or coverage for conditions outside Clean Master’s control.
2. Paver sealing warranty: one year
Clean Master Exterior Services warrants residential paver-sealing applications for one year from the service-completion date against defects in workmanship or material/manufacturer-related failure that cause premature, abnormal failure when the cause is within Clean Master’s control.
Examples may include cracking, peeling, chipping, flaking, delamination, or abnormal yellowing attributable to a covered application or material failure. The coverage is intended for conditions such as an application error, a defective batch of sealer, or another covered installer/material failure. It is not intended to cover natural wear, fading, or ordinary changes caused by exposure and traffic over time.
Available remedy
For a valid claim, Clean Master may, at its option, re-service the affected area, repair the affected area, or refund the applicable portion of the invoice. Customer service remains a priority after employee and public safety.
Conditions not covered
The paver-sealing warranty does not cover:
- natural wear, fading, or traffic patterns caused by ultraviolet exposure, vehicle or foot traffic, abrasion, tire friction, weather, sprinklers, salt exposure, or environmental conditions;
- efflorescence;
- aggregate exposure, paver wear, surface spalling, or deterioration caused by environmental, runoff, drainage, or other site conditions;
- ants, insects, weeds, mold, mildew, or other biological activity or growth;
- complete stain removal or stains that require replacement of the affected pavers;
- joint-sand movement, erosion, settling, or loss;
- haze, whitening, or cloudiness caused by moisture below or within the substrate, including inadequate drainage, pavers installed over concrete, a high water table, persistent saturation, or trapped moisture;
- a particular sheen, uniform gloss, color depth, or duration of an aesthetic effect;
- slipperiness, including when a sealed surface is wet; optional additives may reduce but cannot eliminate slip risk;
- tire marks or tire-compound reactions; or
- debris or dust entering a pool area during exterior work; pool filtration and post-service pool cleanup remain the homeowner’s responsibility.
Conditions that void paver coverage
Coverage is void for a condition caused by:
- customer neglect or misuse, including applying chemicals, pressure washing, using abrasives or scrubbing pads, applying another sealer or coating, or otherwise altering the sealed surface;
- third-party work, products, or methods applied to the sealed surface after Clean Master’s work; or
- failure to follow the post-service care and cure-time instructions Clean Master provides.
3. Stripping and sealant removal: 80% threshold
Stripping outcomes vary with the prior product, number of coats, coating age, porosity, texture, edge geometry, sanded joints, and substrate conditions. Unless the approved written scope states otherwise, Clean Master’s performance target is to remove 80% or more of the existing or failed sealant across the project area.
When Clean Master removes 80% or more, the stripping scope is considered successfully completed. Minor remnants may remain in deep corners, tight edges, low spots, pits, textured areas, borders, or other areas where prior buildup or surface geometry limits removal.
A request to pursue removal beyond the included threshold is additional work. Clean Master will quote that work for approval before proceeding, and it may be priced as a fixed additional charge or as a percentage of the original stripping price based on the conditions.
Stripping projects are not covered by the paver-sealing warranty because the surface condition and prior product failure existed before Clean Master was hired and complete removal is not always achievable.
4. Natural stone and travertine: one-year seal performance
Natural stone, including travertine, may contain pre-existing wear, etching, pitting, spalling, fillers, repairs, irregular porosity, and finish variation that is not obvious until cleaning or sealing. Sealing can reveal or amplify existing variation, scratches, etching, or finish loss, especially on worn honed or polished stone.
Clean Master warrants natural-stone sealer-application performance for one year against workmanship defects or material/manufacturer failure that cause premature, abnormal failure when the cause is within Clean Master’s control. Seal performance generally means the sealer bonds and functions as intended, including water-repellency or hydrophobic behavior when applicable to the product used.
Natural-stone coverage does not include:
- a particular sheen, finish level, or cosmetic appearance;
- pre-existing etching, scratches, chips, pits, spalls, worn finish, prior repairs or fillers, or inconsistent honing or polishing;
- substrate or installation issues, including drainage, moisture migration, movement, cracking, discoloration, or haze;
- guaranteed stain removal; or
- restoration of the stone’s original factory finish or appearance.
5. Roof cleaning warranty: two years
Clean Master provides a two-year limited roof-cleaning warranty beginning on the service-completion date.
The warranty addresses significant organic growth that returns to a level that would reasonably trigger an HOA notice, city warning, or similar curb-appeal complaint under normal conditions. It is not a promise of zero growth in every area because roof exposure varies by property and environment.
Covered condition and remedy
If significant visible regrowth meets that standard during the two-year term and Clean Master determines that the condition resulted from a factor within its control, such as a missed area, application error, or related service issue, Clean Master will correct the covered condition.
For a valid claim, Clean Master will spot-treat the affected area rather than re-clean the entire roof when only a section is affected. At Clean Master’s option, the remedy may instead be a refund of the applicable portion of the roof-cleaning invoice.
Conditions not covered
The roof-cleaning warranty does not cover regrowth or appearance affected by:
- shade, low sun, low drying, overhangs, solar obstructions, adjacent structures, second-story walls or rooflines, or persistent dampness;
- overhanging branches, debris accumulation, or landscaping that contributes to moisture retention or organic deposits;
- unusual weather, frequent heavy rain, coastal salt exposure, airborne contaminants, or other regional environmental conditions;
- persistent runoff, gutter overflow, or drainage conditions that keep an area damp;
- pre-existing staining, wear, oxidation, underlying discoloration, or another roof-material limitation that cleaning cannot permanently remove; or
- third-party work, treatments, coatings, painting, or modifications after Clean Master’s service.
The customer is responsible for keeping the roof reasonably free of overhanging vegetation and debris that materially changes exposure conditions after service.
6. Claim process and review
To request review during the applicable coverage period:
- contact Clean Master and identify the service address, service date, and concern;
- provide reasonably requested photographs or other information; and
- allow a reasonable onsite inspection when Clean Master determines that an inspection is needed to verify the condition and determine its cause.
Contact office@cleanmasterfl.com, call (772) 999-8282, or text (772) 999-8282.
Clean Master will compare the condition with the approved estimate or invoice, service records, site conditions, care instructions, and the controlling warranty version before determining coverage and the applicable remedy.
7. General limitations and remedies
Remedies are limited to the affected covered area or the applicable invoice portion described for that service. Coverage does not create an automatic customer-selected refund, full-project redo, full-roof cleaning, cosmetic restoration, or payment for work outside the covered condition.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clean Master is not liable under this Warranty & Coverage document for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages. Clean Master’s total liability under this document is limited to the amount paid for the applicable service area at issue or the remedy described above, at Clean Master’s option.
Nothing in this document limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Controlling version and contact
Clean Master may update this Warranty & Coverage document as products and processes change. The version applicable to a project is the approved version in effect on the service-completion date unless the written estimate or invoice states otherwise.
The approved written estimate or invoice and the controlling service-specific warranty version govern. A later website update does not retroactively change the coverage for an earlier project unless Clean Master and the customer lawfully agree otherwise in writing.
